I keep getting this caller from "Utah" and finally called back to see who/what it was. An automated voice answered, offering to unsubscribe, and I did so.
But this morning they called again and left a message by mistake on my answering machine. The speakers are yakking in Tagalog, (Phillippines) unaware they are being recorded, and I have twice traced the call with the police. The net is closing on them.
I guess the next time I "unsubscribe" by calling their service these scam artists will do it and stop harrassing me.
Not that they'll be able to from jail.
The foreign accent guy called comes up as Asia Pacific. It's a scam. Said we know ur having trouble w Yahoo account. They would fix it for a fee. This is such a scam.
(385)235-7363 has just called me 2 days in a row offering 'free federal grant money) w no need to pay back the loan. They asked for my credit card number to pay a $3.86 'processing fee' to get the loan. So naturally I said I had no card on me n to call back tomorrow. Then the women asked "what time is it where I am right now", so she could set up a time to call me back the next day. So obviously this number is changing it's scam from person to person. Be careful ladies n gentlemen n remember ' if it sounds too good to b true, it most likely is'. Let's get these jerks busted . Report this number to the authorities as soon as u get the call but don't let on that u know Thier scamming u so we have a better chance to catch em.
They called twice today. I answered and there was a lot of background noise. I said hello with no response so I said hello again and very stupidly, he said "hello" and hung up.
