Robo call, left message about a free medical alert system and my number was referred by a friend. called number back and got a message from Verizon that the number I was trying to call was no longer in service
First off the Do Not Call list does nothing. The government and phone companies will not stop calls that are making them money and securing their jobs. The only way to stop this is to find the true identity of the caller And Sue but good luck with that. Is easier to get enough people together and go after the government via every states Senator. . First thing is to get you states senators office phone number. Everytime you get a scam call log it. Every Friday afternoon call your senator, complain of the inaction of the Do ot call list, tell them you want state action taken to stop unwanted calls. Let them know your action is part of a nationwide effort to stop telemarketers from calling. Only through legal, state action can this stop. The fed won't do squat. Please pass this to every site you know. We can start a movement but this is just the start.
