The best way to find out it is a scammer is to call the number back and use the *67 before the number to block your identity. I did this for 385-325-6085 and when it tells you "this number does not exist" YOU KNOW IT IS A SPOOFED NUMBER SCAMMER CALLING!!! Well just get a call blocker and block area code 385!!
My parents receive calls from this number all day, every day and have for months. I finally answered and was going to tell them to remove their phone number from their list, but the "person" on the other end is just an automated voice that attempts to respond to what you say. No way to speak to an actual human. Caller ID says "Alarm Co".
This number calls frequently while I am out. Today I was home and picked up the phone but didn't say anything. This robo-sounding voice said, "This is Jonathan Tyler. How are you today?" I continued to say nothing and they hung up. Who is Jonathan Tyler? My caller ID says the call originated in Springville, Utah. ?!
