a "technician" called my mother repeatedly from this number this evening regarding her computer. She could not understand a word he said, but he seemed to want to help her with her computer. Her Norton security is up to date, etc. My question is, why is someone calling her (repeatedly, mind you) wanting to secure her computer? She finally quit answering her phone. Very suspicious.

Mr Jean your mother might cannot understand a word..but ther are real technician..they reall wants to help because it is there job...so pick up the phone next time answer them properly...having Norton security is up to date is not the solution, might be that is the reason they are giving a call....thank you
67 calls from this individual. Heavy accent, cannot understand. He wants control of my PC. Sometimes claims to be under contract w/Microsoft - yeh, right! Told repeatedly DO NOT CALL!. Regarding several other comments-- yes, they may be computer technicians, but so are hackers! The caller cannot/will not identify the types of so-called problems.
