I got a call from this number at 1:13 Pm Central time today and while the caller ID said it was from Utah and the number that reads out is a Utah number the caller claimed to be a Memphis TN City Firefighter looking for people to purchase concert tickets which the profit goes toward some burn center. Very cordial and the same schmuckism the Memphis Firefighters Assoc. use.... it's okay if you can't afford to they prefer you do it anyway and if you don't like that sort of music or are too disabled to go to the concert that's okay just send the money and they'll use your concert tickets and attend for you. Then during the next round, if you can't go to the concert yourself they will convert your tickets into charitable work in a different venue ( okay, this is more than enough schmuckism ) When I asked him why his caller ID said UTAH and had a Utah number this was nothing for me to worry about, some people tell him it reads Arizona too so it must be Comcast messing up. ( I was not born yesterday, yes Comcast has a short between their headsets and are known to harass people on the telephone but in the past this really was the Memphis Firefighters misbehaving and I even sent them a Do Not Call my telephone number in writing through the US Mail so... it doesn't get them off the hook with "Do Not Call Violations" ... I don't want to think about other people's second or third degree burns while I was practicing my Lap Harp music... if they get burned they will be cared for, it's automatic and under the Affordable Care Act everyone has Health Insurance anyhow... TN would never throw a burned child into the street because I won't send $28 to a schmuck with a Utah phone number claiming to be a Memphis TN Firefighter, I'm certain of that. Enough already, people are not that stupid any more... their scheme is illegal to present over the telephone . I'm saying NO again... DO NOT CALL !
