Got a call again today from "global investments". They claim the debt has now defaulted to a judgement against me. The demand payment NOW. This # is possibly a google generated phone number and should be considered scam related.
Received a call from this #---someone looking for a former family member---whom I have not had contact with in many years----I don't know anyone in UT, not at this#---pretty unprofessional that people have to fish for personal information from anyone in someone's family---whether they have contact with them or not----sickening---this call is from a VOIP# as well---make these calls STOP..............
The people calling from this number claim to be mediators for a company called Global Investment. They claim to be collecting on a old debt that completely fictitious. We called the police and reported it because they have my ss#. Unfortunately, nothing that can be done.

I received a call from this number today 385-881-0824, individual on the phone would not provide any information until I would answer 'yes' to the question they asked "AM I SPEAKING WITH....?" - I stated I am not going to say the word YES on the phone as they may be scammers - I hear the rep on the phone talking about 'we need to just send it to garnishment' and then she put me on hold - I then hung up the phone and they called back 4 times back to back and I just let it go to voicemail, no message left. I called back with *67 so they couldn't see my phone # on the caller id and asked for a VALIDATION NOTICE which shows how much is owed and who the debtor is - thuis can bre requested per the FDCPA Fair Debt Collection Practices Act - the rep asked me WHAT IS THAT? I believe they are scammers and I am going to mess with them. BEWARE!
