Got a text that said "Hello Larry!). then a follow up that said if i wanted to know who it was i had to add them to yahoo msger and they gave me their id.

Tighten up the security on your accounts and don't click unknown links. If they've told you their Yahoo ID, report it to Yahoo abuse.
I had the same happen to me as others have stated.On 11/7/2012 at approximately 6:54 pm (cst) the text said: "hello (my name)??? I texted back asking who they were also, but never got a reply. My wife called the number today and it was a recorded message saying you have reaced someone's text number.
Just got a text from this number. I asked "who is this?" They texted back and said "haha if you want to know who this is u got to add me on Y! msnger, my name is textflirter396". I just deleted the texts.
