You need to send them a certified, return receipt debt validation, cease and desist calling, or "not me" letter. You also need to report them to the proper agencies to which I have provided links to. Then you need to go out and get a consumer lawyer to sue them on a contingency basis (no money out of your pocket) and let them pay you for the harassment. If everyone did these three things, these crooks would be bankrupt and we would all be the richer for it.

Anytime a debt collector calls they have a reason. Companies use debt collectors under their disguised reminder call / courtesy call networks to abuse and exploit consumers. They also disguise themselves under how your number is listed as associated, alternate contact number, wrong name or number under some alleged debtors account. They then call all phone numbers they find for relatives (ex), friends, neighbors, or whoever, under that account. Under FDCPA they are to tell you that they are calling for "location purposes of a consumer" but that never happens while they maintain their disguised, unfair, deceptive, abusive acts, practices (UDAAP) under Dodd Frank Act leading to violations under state and federal FDCPA, TCPA, TSR, FCRA and others. Read up on your rights and any call disclosed as a debt collector (for unknown reasons) should be addressed with a cease and desist through their BBB or certified return mail via USPS. The corrupt networks of PRA also disguise themselves with lots of calls as surveys, charities, credit card services, automated calls that require press this or that number, or whatever calls you are also receiving. Call identifier said Lorrain Kroncke but man who called said he was calling about a "prize" I won - two airline tickets and a visa debit card. All I had to do was...yeah, well, at that point I hung up on him. When I called back the number it was a disconnected line...when will our government crack down on thieves and fraudsters?
