I attended the Discover Dinosaurs in Illinois a few weeks ago, and filled out an entry for a contest at the entrance. I got a call form (805) 855-0270 (Northern Los Angeles Area) last night saying I "won" the contest.
I was asked to verify my address. Then I was asked if I was married, I said no. Then he asked me if I was in a relationship, I said no. Finally, he asked how old I was, and I said 25. In the end, he never asked me for any personal information, and he said he'd mail me 4 tickets to disney, which are good for 5 years.
I believe that because I didn't fit the criteria of being a married mature parent, he didn't bother to ask me for any personal information. His assumption is that he can't get money out of me.
some a***hole travel company that said that i "WON" a free trip ... i did enter in for a drawing for a FLA vacation .. but they want me to pay a $498 "processing fee"
they've called about 9X in the last 24hrs .. they do not leave a message .. the numbers are similar .. and all come from FLA
