This number called before I could answer they hung up. When I called the number back it said that I had visited a website and won a giftcard. I do not give out my phone number to web sites. This number is now blocked from my phone by my paid program. When I called them back from my blocked phone number and pressed one to redeem my claim I could hear a voice in the distance say 'hang up, hang up'. And then they hung up.

They called me day after day on my cell and said I entered some sweepstakes. They then wouldn't get off the phone with me wanted me to pay 4.95 a week for magazine. Wanted me to buy four magazines I kept saying I wasn't interested but she wouldn't stop trying to sell them. I had to hang up on her.
She did ask me survey questions like marriage status and education level before trying to sell me stuff.
I got this call today from someone claiming to to be "Kevin" from a company named "Discount Rewards"
Kevin told me that all these calls were being recorded. I told him that was fine because they were in violation of the TCPA because I was dialed on a cell phone with an automated dialer.
I enacted my rights under the TCPA and told him that he had to tell me what company he represented and his name. I was instantly transferred to a supervisor with a female voice. She did not give me her name and was being dodgy when I told her I was called from their company on a auto-dialer...
This number kept calling me informing about a business platform to get me more customers! I said I don't own a salon and stop calling me and the guy wouldn't get the clue to leave me alone and take me off there calling list! I hung up on him again and called and talked to the manager- he said he was and would take my number off the list! Annoying people!!
