followup to the scam call, the area code "386" is out of the southern Florida area, with most of the search hits in the Daytona Beach area and eight other local cities of the southern Florida region. KCAL TV channel 9 in L.A. reported on this scam back a few months ago as a auto warranty scam. These calls are "robo-calls" in nature.
