Who called from 3864276893

They called and it was on my caller ID.  I pressed to speak to someone.  They asked for the make and year of my car.  I said they should know it.  They hung up right away.  I called back, the phone number was disconnected.  What a joke.  I wish they would get caught and leave everyone alone.

FOLLOWUP TO LAST WEEK'S POST:
According to a very helpful detective in New Smyrna beach, this phone #  was "Masked or Spoofed"- >>The phone number used by the culprits has been out of service in the area since 1998 (it was reserved by the city, but was never used).>>

He also said that if you end up speaking to someone and they curse at you, you can file a complaint with the FCC.
FCC (Federal Communication Commission) for any calls of this nature. You can call them at: 1-800-225-5322 or go on line to: [email protected] and follow the links to the Complaint section.

Dont' forget to also file at DONOTCALL.GOV.

I'm going to keep notifying the phone company the call originates from too.
So the phone companies will illegally share all our private info. to the NSA but won't do anything about fraudulent scammers misusing their service to harass people?

I have been getting calls from this number as well as others for so long. I have not been able to stop them.....so I toy with them, I do things like: act hard of hearing  and I make them repeat everything over and re-explain things or I tell them I'm an obese woman who needs love, or I start yelling at my imaginary children, or even tell  them "A" really long and boring made-up life story,  some of them have actually stopped calling me.  try it. just keep it legal, don't threaten bodily harm or anything. I figure if they are gonna call me and waste my time -we'll do it my way!!!!   have fun everyone.

I have repeatedly received phone calls from the above number informing me that my warranty on my auto has expired.  This information is incorrect.  I have tried to dial the above phone number and receive a message that the phone number is not in service.

If I keep getting these calls from this company. I will be sure to make a note of it. to call call 1-888-427-6893 ext. 4207 all the time. Since I have nothing better to do all day hahaha
