These folks just call and hang up. Seems to me that they want to know whether the number is connected so that they may use it for their own nefarious purposes. These people should be looking for a real job or a pet instead of calling people only to be a major annoyance. It is summer and a time when legitamate organizations are looking for a handout. Only trouble is, with all of the jerks calling all the time, why bother answering strange phone calls at all? I'm sure that telemarketers themselves hate getting called by other telemarketers. All telemarketers are collectively a niusance that all Americans can easily do without.
This jerk called me and the ID as AASTFL at 386-538-7501. He asked for my wife by her first name. I asked was this a marketing call and he said no, then I asked what his business as and he hung up. This is the 8th time this jerk has called. We should be allowed to hunt them down and put them all to work on road gangs picking up litter and cutting weeds. These people are the social flotsam of our era.
I have been called every day for weeks from the number
386-538-7501 "AASTFL". I get dead air or I am hung up on.
I finally called the number and a recording came on stating it was the "American Association for State Troopers of FL".
Now everyone knows who it is. They are looking for their annual donations. Hope this helps everyone with the big mistery.
