Did not leave a message, only let phone ring till the answer machine came on, this is an unwanted call. I believe we should get a bill passed that any business calling unsolicited should be charged per call. If company's name and real phone number is not available more should be done to eliminating them
Got a call from this number. Didn't answer, they left no message. After about 30 minutes or so I called number back, got a recording from Verizon Wireless it was NOT a working number. But ealier that same morning I got 2 calls from a number labeled, "unknown" . I didn't answer those either - no messages left from those calls either.
I received a call from these people and answered due to the fact that it was a local number. I was greeted by "Harry" who sounded suspiciously like Rahul (according to Google, this is the most common male Indian name). He assured me his name was Harry Sylvester, and that I had signed up for something at the mall or grocery store. My girlfriend does all the shopping, and I avoid the mall like the plague, so yeah about that. Anyway, I told him to have a good day and hung up.
Missed a call, every time I call back it's busy. I read further down, something about free cruise tickets. Funny story if anyone is reading. I know exactly what this is, it's a vacation club offer. I know, because I worked at one of these call centers a few years back while I was in between decent jobs. Incase you're out of the loop, a vacation club is the timeshare deal, so to speak. You pay monthly to get "deals" on vacation packages. They either send out letters for you to call in to one of their call centers, or they'll blind call us. You will on get a call if you have made x income or higher, so go ahead and congratulate yourself there. So the gist is that you rsvp to go to their however many hour long seminar, with your credit card (just to verify your address ofcoarse /s). Once its finished you get those tickets after being pressured into buying in to the vacation club. You can get those tickets if you really want them, but, I don't think it's worth it myself.
Just got a call from this #. Saying that I signed up for a free vacation or something. Very hard to understand. I think my bird speaks better English...
