WARNING: Adult language! Just got ANOTHER call from these scammers. The automated message says to press 1 to speak with someone to lower the interest rate on your card. I've gotten several calls from this number before, and knew it was a scam, so I decided to play along this time. I was transferred to some guy who asked which card it was that I wanted to lower the interest rate on. Was it a Visa or Mastercard he asked. I told him it was a Visa. He then asked me to verify the exp date. I gave him a made up date, then he asked for the card number. Again, I just made up a number and wrote it down as I said it. He said that the number wasn't matching his database and asked me to repeat it. Again he said that number isn't matching his database, so I asked him why not? His answer was that it was because I was being a crazy [***]. I said "really, I'm being a crazy [***], you are the one scamming people for a living." He then said "you're a [***] dumb [***]". I said that he's a disgusting person and at least I have an honest job. He said "oh really? What's your job? Do you accept [***] for money?" I reiterated what a disgusting piece of [***] he was and then hung up. So fed up with this crap. What do we have to do to get these people arrested for what they are doing? If anyone has any knowledge of how to go about reporting them and getting them in trouble for this, please respond.
