Text from Robert Walter (these scam artists seem to commonly have two first names) asking for services. Wanted to pay by credit card immediately. Asked for a "favor" and offered tip to pay someone else for their services through another bank account. Name of bank account owner Akinwade Kayode. He could have given me two different account numbers from either Bank of America or Wells Fargo. I returned money to the credit card and did not go through with it. I got a lot of information by going along with it, so if you want to catch someone-even if you suspect them, maybe play along for a minute. These dishonest people are in a terrible rush and are "a very busy man" and their writing is in broken English. Shortly after this I got another text from a different man named James at this number is 864-999-9331. I didn't have the energy to write him back. They are thieves and they don't deserve a penny. There is one judge waiting for him that he can't evade so easily as he evades the US law.
Same number sent text inquiring about tennis lessons. Sounds like the scam that they send you a fake check for too much and then want you to send them back the difference.
I'm a local tennis instructor and received a text from this number. The man said his name was Larry Williams and wants lessons for his 2 daughters. Talked about using private driver and package deals for lessons
Likewise Nicholas Johnson, I'm a private tennis instructor and was asked about package deals for lesson. I'm a local tennis instructor and received a text from this number. The man said his name was Larry Williams and wants lessons for his 2 daughters. Talked about using private driver and package deals for lessons
