I have no idea who the caller is or what they want, I don't know anyone in Rhode Island......If anyone else finds out please post...thank you I dont answer numbers I'm not familiar with
I didn't recognize the number, so let it go to vm. Same with another 401-228 call came in about 3 hr earlier (and sent it to vm). When I checked my vm the earlier call had about 40 seconds of air, but I could hear in the distant background what sounded like a call center. I distinctly heard the word, "medicare". But for this number there was just about 30 sec. of air.
Called my cell phone. I don't know how they got my cell number as I don't give it out online (except to my credit card holders for alert messages. I've been getting alerts for years, but only recently getting call center crap. MAKE IT STOPPPP!!!!! PLEASE!!!)
They called my cell # and when I played the voicemail, all I heard was "I'll call ya' back as soon as I can". It was as if she was either mimicking my voicemail greeting, or threatening to bug me again. LOL! I don't want to call back because I heard that then they know it's a working # and totally ignore your request to take you off of their list. The best thing to do is to play a disconnect tape from YouTube or answer it with "FCC How may I help you?" LOL! I am probably just going to label it and ignore it. LIfe's too short and I am too busy to stress over it. :-) Have a great day everybody! :-)
