Received a call on my cell phone from this #; no message was left. Called the # back from a different line/unlisted. After it rang for a very long time a man with an asian accent answered the line "This is the IRS may I help you?". I hung up the phone...highly doubt it was the IRS. Beware!
I also received a call from this #, no message, so I called back, Asian accent man said it's IRS so I asked "what do you want?" He's started pressing the phone keys and that was it. The next day, I called the same # back, and a voice message said "this # is not a working #! Weird...just sayin'!
It is a scam to steal your identity. "IRS is pursuing a lawsuit against you." Same message called from 310-908-2157. If you have ever attempted to contact any intelligent life form at the IRS, you would know that they're not sophisticated enough to make a phone call.
