401 is Rhode Island area code and I live in Rhode Island. No info on caller i.d. Since my call blocking software let the call through, I answered the phone. Said hello twice and a perky young-sounding female (speaking American English) says "oh hi - sorry I was adjusting my headset." Before I could say anything else she spieled off "you stayed at one of our resorts once and we are offering you 75 percent off a four-night stay" or some such nonsense. I hung up. Typical scam - they use (or more likely spoof) a phone number from your own area code.
