Recorded msg stating IRS issued warrant for my family and am being monitored. All my property is subject to seizure. IRS contacts by mail, not robodialers.
I also got a call from this number. It was a recording stating the IRS had issued a warrant for my arrest and I needed to contact them immediately before further action is taken. I know the IRS contacts you via mail, not phone.
I generally don't answer unknown numbers, but these IRS scammers were nice enough to leave a message. It seems that they've issued a warrant for my arrest and they were providing a last warning to me before they come to my house and haul me away. I guess if one out of every thousand of these calls works, it would make money for the scammers, but I still wonder who would be dumb enough to fall for this.
I received this same recorded message yesterday. These must be the same people who say they are tech support from some computer company. They really must think that people are stupid. By the way, I hope one of them is reading this. The sheriff departments don't issue warrants on behalf of the IRS. You aren't scaring anyone.
