Rang for a split second... don't know anyone with"401" area code, so I figured it was a telemarketer or worse.

Called on my cell phone...Grrrrrrr !!!!!!  Rang twice and then hung up.!!  Left no msg.  I know no one in Rhode Island.!

Called once. Ignored call but left no message. Number originated from Burrillville, Rhode Island

found a missed call from this number on my phone but do not recognize this number although I do live in RI as well.

this number called, rang twice and hung up. From what I read here from other people, it looks to me that their strategy is to develop curiosity and try to get people to call back.
