this number is a scammer.

just received a text message from this number in regards to an item i was selling on craigslist, said they were from cali. they wanted to buy my netbook for there brother in west africa where they just discovered oil.My Scammer radar went off! Beware wanted to pay by paypal.

Same person from this number contacted me this morning about a Notebook PC I am selling on Craigslist.  Sent me a txt telling me a story about his brother in Nigeria who just found oil and he wanted me to mail the notebook to Nigeria.  He asked me to send him a paypal invoice for the total amout with shipping (Whatever the cost was) and he would send the cash to my paypal.  The email addy that he wanted me to send the paypal invoice to was [email protected].  Also, he claims to live in California, but his area code is Rhode Island .... Beware!

This person "John" texted me in response to a iPhone4 I have for sale on CraigsList.  He said they would take it and wanted to know my pay-pal account info.  I sent him an invoice, & never got paid.  BUT, I did receive a "FAKE" notice from Pay-Pal that I had been paid.  Obviously, he was hoping that I would then ship off the phone without verifying my Pay-Pal account.
