Ok DO NOT FALL victim to this loser. I feel so bad for the people who spent $ and did what this idiot said so maybe this will help someone as this website helped me. After spending two days scared to death, I found this page but had also had one of my attorney friends call and put my mind at ease but I could'nt let it go. My call was from Marco Russo, he said he had warrant to search home and arrest warrant. I believed him... After I spent two days of my life hiding at a friends and scared my atty told me this was a scam, I then began googling and found a TON of info including TMZ's story where the same thing hapened to a producer!! So I decided to play back with this guy. MY husband called him and said "I had a message to call you?" he never asked who he was or anything just immediately said "Yes we have officers enroute to your home to arrest you" my husband acted worried and afraid and was then told he could pay $3500 via Moneygram or fly to Dominican Revbublic. My husband pretended we were getting the $ together and the guy told us where to go and that he would remain on the phone with us and "the officers" until he got the $. He said he couldn't fax any proof or paperwork to us until the Judge signed it. Keep in mind he doesn't even have my husband's name. He asked my hubby why he ordered the medication and my hubby replied "I had cancer and I needed some help with it" he said "ok" and my husband said he was "so scared and didn't want to go to jail" the guy said "well thats up to you if you send the $ in next 15 minutes" 30 minutes was all my husband was going to give this idiot so they guy said "Are you at the moneygram building now?" and my husband said "No, Im at the police department you jerk and thank you for staying on the phone for 30 minutes it gave them time to trace the call and the entire thing is recorded, so now, officers are coming for YOU!" the man got angry and hung up, I iced his cake by calling him back and thanking him for wasting 30 minutes of his life so we could trace the call and called him a loser.. it just felt good lol However, the cops said they can't do anything and it's obvious the real DEA isn't doing anything as this scam has been running for 3 years, they use MagicJack so there is no FCC violation. So the worst thing is, us victims are horrified for however long you're freaked out, then some people go as far as sending the $ or hiring an attoreny and I hope this post helps someone as it helped me. And I think all we can do is prank call them back over and over, whenver youre bored or driving, just call and jack with them. It makes them mad. Not like they can turn you in, what are they going to say?!?!?! "I called this lady told her I was arrresting her tried to extort her and now she wont leave me alone???"
