The only solution is to just not answer your phone. When my phone rings, unless it comes up with a name on the caller ID, I don't answer. If a MSG is left and it's only 2 or 3 seconds, I don't even listen to it, I erase it.
Automated message about "changes to my visa account" and "I qualify for...". I hung up, immediately redialed the number to tell them to add me to their "do not call list", but received "this number is no longer in service..." huh? It really ticks me off when I get these calls on my cell phone as I use my phone for business. I get several of these types of calls daily.
