This number showed up on the caller ID. I was able to talk to the interviewer who called; he was very respectful and understanding that some prople don't want to participate in surveys or polling. This company has taken the step to maintain an internal "Do Not Call Registry" which you can easily sign up for on their website: www.OpinionFactor.com there is a sign up page there. While the national DNC directory does not apply to survey research since they are not trying to sell me anything, this company is forward-thinking enough to make this polling and research "Do Not Call" registry an option. Maybe if more companies did this then we wouldn't be going nuts with all the calls we get!!
Called three times, first two I were missed calls. I then answered and asked how she got my mobile number and she said it was listed...YEAH WHERE....she knew my first and last name...yikes!?! She about if I attended a Linux World Expo lately and kept not responding when I spoke with her, then hung up on me. I now signed up for the do not call list.
