I received a call asking if I had entered a raffle at a major retailer (walmart, target, etc.) and that I had won a prize from that raffle. However, in order to claim my prize I had to be in a relationship with someone over the age of 29. The caller's name was Edward, said he represented Sony and VERY difficult to understand. I know what I'll do if they call back :)
received a call from this number, the woman said she was calling from Sony. i could barely understand her. after she repeated herself multiple times, she finally said she was calling to see if i've received any calls yesterday from Sony. politely declined and hung up.
I also received the same call. I could barely understand the gentleman. When I asked to be taken off their call list, they refused and threatened me. I threatened them back by saying I'd report them to the FTC and get a lawyer involved. (Not really, but it always helps to throw in a lawyer threat.) I called Verizon and blocked their number from my cell and also re-listed my number on the FTC do not call list.
received a call from 4013698772 and they asked to verify my number and name. I told them they had the wrong number, and they hung up. sounds like phishing.
