I stopped answer the phone  and let it go to message mode

I also shut the ringer off

and these calls do not leave  a  message just cost you money

don't you just love high tech  bull ----

Same for me - Robocall on 11/5 for "free medical alert device".   Person was polite about taking me off the list.  But will it happen???

Call came while we were out.  Showed up on caller I.D. with the number and "out of area" so I have no idea who it was or what they wanted.  Didn't leave a message.
What a pain it is to have to put up with calls from people you don't want to deal with.  We're on the do not call list -- national and state.  I've tried reporting the numbers that try to sell something.  Sometimes I get angry and answer and try to tell them off.  Doesn't seem to help much.
