Called, left no message on my answering machine. Caller id on my phone said "Bristol RI". I returned the call 5 minutes later (with my own caller id hidden) and a recording answered that "the survey I was called for is now closed." So I blocked the number. They tried calling me again from this number a couple of days later, so the "survey" explanation is obviously a scam. They have called from several other Rhode Island numbers as well, all of which I have blocked.
They called here twice today. Told them not to call in the AM, received a second call a few minutes ago. The called ID identifies the call as coming from Bristol. The spiel is for GE Home Security Systems.
It may very well be an automated call. I too am on every Do Not Call list around.
