And you did exactly what they wanted you to do. Pick up and talk. That's part (a). They were hoping for part (b). that's where you call them back. If not on the first call, then the second call, you should of checked the number FIRST, before deciding what action to take.
This # 401-406-2631 has been calling me daily for the past couple of months, ever since I signed up for some job search sites. He always asks for me by name and then says he's always some kind of school or something, he's hard to understand, apparently a foreigner, and when I tell him that I have asked him repeatedly to quit calling and that I am on the no call Registry he always hangs up. He is getting very annoying because sometimes he will call two or three times a day. And the caller on the always says Providence Rhode Island. I turned him into the FTC today.
He calls daily, sometimes numerous times per day, he started calling several months ago after I signed up on some job Search websites. Says he's from some kind of school or something, hard to understand, probably foreign, when I tell him that I have asked him numerous times to not call me and that I am on the no call registry, he always hangs up. The caller ID says Providence Rhode Island.
They call me 4-5 times a day and I called them back one time and it was a person with some thick accent that was hard to understand and they were trying to sell me a car. When I told them I don't need one they hung up on me!! It's getting annoying the amount of times they call.
