I just a call from this # as well....some foreigh [***]-hole claiming to be from GE Securities. I told him I was on the "Do Not Call List"-he hung up. I tried calling it back, but all I got was a recording saying that the "mailbox was full"....I am contacting the FTC and GE to let them know....
I answered the call (I know people in Rhode Island although I didn't recognize this number - no name in the caller ID) and said "Hello?"
The caller said, in response, "Hello?" (Is there an echo in here?) I asked, "Can I help you?" to which he asked "Hello?" again. I hung up, thinking we might have had a bad connection. But the connection sounded fine; the person on the other end was just a dimwit.
