called my cell phone today also, then hung up as soon as I answered. tired of computer generated calls to my cell, especially when I have taken the time to place it on a do not call list
We answered the phone when they called for the 8th time - it is "national insurance verifiers" (sounds fishy) seeing if we are happy with our car insurance. I told them to stop calling.
I have received at least 10 calls from 401-466-4031 in one day. They called around 8:45 pm and I was able to answer. They asked for another person's name, I told them they had the wrong number, and the lady on the other end proceeded to tell me they were involved with higher education loans. I told her I had my BA already and was not interested and to take me off their list - despite me not even the person they were asking for. She still tried to talk, I cut her off and told her to remove my number once again and she agreed. Less than an hour later, she called AGAIN. I yelled at her this time and hung up. Guess what - just got another call from them yesterday.
This number started calling me yesterday and continued to today. It was a foreign lady asking me about my car insurance like the other posts have said. Just ignore it.
