This person called to my place of business and asked to speak to the owner. I am a "Gatekeeper" so I politely asked to take a message because I knocked him off as a telemarketer right away. I asked his name, number, and what the message was in reagrds to. he told me his name was PETER TROMBETTI, he gave me his number 401-519-6683, and then when I asked what the msg was in regards to, he said THANK YOU AND HUNG UP!!! Rudeeeee, So I called back, he answered, and I said i didnt appreciate the hang up and asked again what the msg was in regards to...he said dont ever call him back!!! Sooooo, if this guys ever bugs you at your place of business, BE SURE TO CALL HIM BACK BECASUE HE LOVESSSSS IT :)
If you google 401 area code, it comes up as a scammer area code!!! BEWARE PEOPLE
I got a call from Mr. Trombetti as well, but he was really nice! He was trying to find a job for a veteran who just returned from active duty. He was really polite, and I hope we can help him.
I think he was playing on your sympathy. He pretended to know my boss. She has never heard of him. I know they have job to do, but we gatekeepers have to stick together! Our bosses pay us, not the sales guy on the other end!
I also got a call from Peter Trombetti from this number. I was out of the office so he left a message. A very cagey message. He claimed we had a mutual friend but didn't drop a name. I have not called him back.
