Received an automated recording from this number on my cellphone voicemail. As stated in previous posts I've read here, says it is a security alarm system company, BUT does not disclose the information or name. I would suggest not to press 9 to be removed from the list. You just never know these days! The 401 area code is for Rhode Island & I live in Florida, so must be call center generated scam. I've added to my blocked calls list & reported to www.fcc.gov/complaints
Paetec Communications is a business that sells United States phone numbers to overseas scammers to route their telemarketing scams through. I've reported to www.fcc.gov/complaints. Thanks for your input. It alerted me to the fact that my phone call was from yet another scam using a different phone number, but the number generated was from same company that sells other phone numbers to other scammers that I've received calls from. Hopefully this Paetec Communications can eventually be out of business. Thanks again!
Call received on my work number when I was not there (my phone system has a call log for received calls). No message. At least they're not bothering me at home (yet). Caller ID reads "Customer Srv"
