3/10/15 1:05pm Just received phone call from this number. I do not know this number so I let it go to voicemail. They hung up and did not leave a message.
I didn't pick up and they didn't leave a voice mail. After some research it appears sometimes this number calls and pretends they are the IRS and need to talk about some tax trouble you are having. Other times they call and say they are selling back and knee braces covered by Medicare. It's tax time so the most recent is the IRS calls Scam, do not answer!
Thanks for your advice ! I just got a call from the same number and I didn't answer either, another ph number they had call me from is 1661-748-0240, this one is about problems with your computer. A bunch of indian people calling like crazy.
They left a message on my answering machine. IRS threat. Guy had a slight accent. Said that there was a complaint against me and that I would be sorry if I didn't call this number: 607-767-7136. His wording was very unprofessional. Sorry, but the IRS contacts you by mail. What a load of crap. It's tax time, so these creeps are starting the scamming up again.
