Called and left no message but I think this is from Cox Communications. They called me a couple of weeks ago and "offered me a two year contract with no price increase" but did not offer to lower the outrageous price. I am not find of Verizon but if long time customers of Cox are going to pay through the nose, I can play the switch game, too. The reason I think this is Cox is because I called them a couple of years ago about the exorbitant price and was told that reduced rates are only for new customers. Two days later a man named John whose phone was in West Warwick (as this one is) called and did offer to lower my rates. Almost everyone I know that has Cox is dumping them because there's no tangible reward for loyalty.
