Got a text message saying "Heyy :) "- don't know who they are, didn't respond.

Got a text asking me to ad her to msging, I replied who is this and they texted back..Oh my service dropped.

Same as KT 4 hours ago.  I received a text asking me to add her to "Y! IM" (Yahoo messenger I guess).  Then when I reply it says "sry I have no reception ;("

got a text saying 'hiii (my name)'
asked who it was and they responded: ;) a.dd me on y.a.h.0.0 IM ... ID is mariaflirty2
no responses after that

It is a bad idea to reply to these texts.  You may find this article helpful:
