Called but failed to leave a message. I get tons of telemarketing calls and its always the same, anyone who fails to leave a message falls intomy spam box and is forever ignored.
To combat the endless spam attacks, this is what I do:
1) Copy the number to contacts.
2) Add to a new contact.
3) Name the contact. "TELEPEST*"
4) Assign "TELEPEST" any ringtone and set the volume to MUTE.
5). Add any future spam calls to "TELEPEST*" until it is full. Then edit the name to "TELEPEST*FULL" and start over.
You'll still get called (which you can stop no matter what) but you'll have to speak to one again unless they are a first time caller and you answer it.
I have hundreds of numbers stored this way. Opps, I missed another 5 spam calls, darn. I never heard the ringer, perhaps they might figure that despite changing their numbers I'm still not taking their calls.
I got a call from this number telling me that he was Richard, a Microsoft Technician. He told me that my computer was infected and that Microsoft was monitoring everyone who had Microsoft Products. He said my computer came up as a newly "infected" computer and that he wanted to take over my computer, find the "new" virus and remove it.
