I too have been called repetedly. My number is unlisted. I asked how they got it and was told my mother. According to her she never talked to them. I asked a lot of questions and got a bunch of lies which I kept catching them in. I called the # from caller ID it rang about 20 times finally some one answered hello. There was loud cheering in the background. I asked who it was repetedly and finally was told the name of the Company (unfortunately I couldn't catch it, but it wasn't Crin...) He was rude and I hung up.
401-305-5095 is the number I have been called by repetatively. After calling it back, well - they DID not care for that. They called me back, and hung up. So I called, and called, and called - until a man answered the phone and said "please dont call this number" and hung up. Called back to tell him I would be reporting this, he hung up on me again! Interesting. So Cheers to you Mr. Call Center rude hang-upper man. I will now be reporting you. All you needed was to tell me I was on the do not call list.
This number is always calling my home. They will hang up on you if you ask them any questions regarding their credentials, or ANYHTING for that matter. Called before and my husband said I wasnt here. (my husband doesn't recognize "spam" callers) Again, another day - same thing "She is not here, she will be home at 5:30pm" And another, and another.
On Friday August 21st 2009, They called me around 4:30pm EST - and was told he was returning MY telephone call. Interesting...I said, "Did I call you", he said "No, but.." I cut him off and said "Do not call list please Buddy". hung up.
My phone rang 30 seconds later, same number, they hung up.
I called back until someone answered and said "I need to be on the do not call list" and before the phone slammed down again he said "Do not call this number again". Called again to speak to a manager, but was rudely hung up on again.
I will be reporting this number, and this "Crins Consulting" on the police report I am going to fill out, after dinner. They're favorite time to call :)
We've been called by Crins Consulting 401-681-4865 on a regular basis and finally decided to answer it last night. This guy told us the call was in response to a recent phone survey we had taken and they were following up to offer us Wireless Home Security. When he started asking if our security was wireless, or what type of security we had, I politely (well, rudely actually) told him how we secure our home is not a topic open for discussion with anyone. I then thanked him for his interest then slammed the phone down (well, I clicked the "end" button but I'm sure the tone of the beep got my point across).
What irks me is that we are on the Do Not Call list yet we still continue to receive these annoying calls.
This call no doubt was a scam, otherwise wouldn't a real reputable security company call offering its services?
