I kept the guy on the line. He said he was with American Energy in Woonsocket and they wanted to clean my chimney. I told them about the do not call list and that I would report them. He hung up.
someone from this number has been calling for two weeks. the talk in the background was " don't say a thing on the phone". the next time I heard anything was " I'm not telling them that [***] " . sometimes it sounds like small children in the background. I've called back and of course can't get through.
When I answered there was a slight pause before I was actually connected to someone so it must be some sort of automated dialing.
They said they were "The Chimney Company" in Cumberland [Rhode Island] and were doing half off chimney cleaning and fire inspection. I told them I'm all set and they immediately hung up.
I can find NO TRACE of a company called "The Chimney Company" in Cumberland!
