For the last couple of days I've received a call from this number. Have no relatives living in Rhode Island and they left no message on my answering machine.
I answered a call from this number and the caller identified the company as Home Security Systems, or something like that - trying to give away a system. Told him to take my number off his list.
I thought it may have been from the Rhode Island prison system. i have a friend in RI who has been in trouble with the law, due to an unfortunate habit...Anyway, I did receive a call from a security company during the time this number was calling....the above post is accurate...
been getting these calls, and don't know anyone from RI. I've only had my phone number for less then a week. and already these calls start. Why doesn't the Goverment get off their duffs and do something about these sort of calls. Plus my number is unlisted!
I've gotten two calls today from these people, when I asked how they got my number they hung up immediately. Between that response and the 'security system' add up to heavy suspicion for me.
