James Clark says he works for the Central Intelligence -get this - Department. He has an eastern (as in India) accent and from the sounds in the background, I'd say he's calling from a call center somewhere. The credit agency I've been working with says it's a scam; a creditor has sold your info to this company and they are trying to get your bank/credit card information. My counsellor says DO NOT give it to them, it's a fraud, the threats they are making are not valid. The most they can do is continue to call and try to harass and frustrate you to the point that you give in. They even called a lady who was listed as a personal reference of mine and threatened her, so you know this is bogus. Wish I knew exactly where James is located so I could get to him. I'd show him what REAL harassment is! Meanwhile, if you have caller ID and you don't recognize the number, just don't answer it. If it's that important, they'll leave a message. And if he's cussing and saying other inappropriate things, you can report it to the phone company, and if nothing else, they can change your number.
i recently recieved a call from this same place calling my cell phone and my work. leaving threatening messages. the person who called me was a female and her name is Kelly. when i clled back the number they said they were from an investigation law firm.
