They are Convergent Outsourcing - a particularly nasty collection firm. They have been trying to contact me using numbers from all over the country regarding my ex-husband's account that was discharged in a bankruptcy over 9 years ago. Because I was married and divorced in a "community property" state, the account was transferred to me when my ex defaulted on it. This debt is over the seven year limit but they just renewed it on my credit. I'm fighting this through the credit bureaus. Good luck everyone.
