I got a text with pictures from a program that I couldn't open even after downloading and installing it.
Texted back twice but no answer. Probably some kind of scam. I don't seem to have gotten a virus.
got a txt message from this this number saying they had a image that might work as a pass for entry to an expo. Tried to open it with my phone. Hope I did not get a bug.
Posted for sale ad on CL, 4018590760 And 2394946086 texted me simultaneously (the second number twice)
and the text messages were identical, all telling me to go to some pic link. They were obviously bogus so I just deleted them. Ya know, if texting weren't free, we wouldn't get any of these scam things, kids might get their school work done, and auto insurance rates would drop dramaticly
I posted an ad on CL in the Atlanta area and received a text message response almost immediately from the number 401.859.0760 with a link to some .gmp pics. I could not open the pics and attempted to download a number of programs in order to open them. The pics never opened. I virus scanned all of the pics and programs and came up with negative results. I also responded to the text message with no reply. Frustrating.
