Who called from 4019030397

I just got the same e-mail from  [email protected] saying the same thing.  Claims to be a geophysical investigator  working in the "mountain."  The rest of the e-mail I got is almost identical to what i'm seeing on this thread.  Sure sounds like SPAM.  Anyone acutally been paid? Haha

Mine is the exact same as this one except he's in "the mountain" until July 26 '14.

Wow!! I got not one but TWO of these scammers in ONE DAY. Posted an ad on craigslist and cycle trader the night before and woke up to one, [email protected], who said he wanted to buy my bike for his brothers son as a surprise birthday gift. At this point I'm like "okay this guy seems legit", until I see that he's sending some "mover" to come get it as soon as I receive his payment through PayPal, and that I had to reply with the condition of the bike to see if he would be getting a good deal, my address, my phone number, and the amount of money I wanted. Stupid me thought this was still legit, so I gave him what he wanted, then I get an email from "paypal", which was a bunch of copy & pasted stuff into one email, once I saw it, I knew it was fake, no doubt about it. The next spammer, from phone number (702) 847-0477, texted me saying "Hello , do you still have your listed 2007 yAMAHA  for sale ? if yes you can get back to me via my email: ([email protected]) with your last asking price and its present condition.. Thanks" HAHA not falling for it this time, looked up the email before I emailed him and that's how I found this page.

Looks like this dude has been at it for a while. I just posted my bike and got a similar text message with his email address. Said his name is Billy but his email address is [email protected]. The first giveaway was the misspelling of his first name in the email.

THIS IS A PAYPAL SCAM THAT WAS SENT IMMEDIATELY TO ME AFTER I POSTED MY CAR FOR SALE ON KIJIJI.  PLEASE READ FROM THE BOTTOM UP!

I INITIALLY GOT A TEXT MESSAGE ON MY PHONE FROM A NUMBER 1-978-533-7940.
