I'm on the DO NOT CALL REGISTRY, had to star 69 & pay a dollar to get the stupid annoying call/hangup/ way to many times. Patrolmen do not solicit for donations to anyone ever. I should not have to pay for seeing/ hearing the number that keeps calling me. I don't have caller ID this number is a scam.
This is a scam to get people to send money to benefit police officers. Ive also seen similar scams claiming they are collecting donations for firefighters. Caller ID for this number says "Patrolmens". I don't answer calls unless I recognize the number, and these scammers never leave a message.
BEING on the DO NOT CALL REGISTRY to STOPR THIS TYPE CALLS has not worked.as yet. First time did not talk. Next time Must have been a recording because would not stop talking to hear me say : "I'm on the DO NOT CALL REGISTRY So STOP THIS ".. 402-206-0950 RECEIVED on September 27, 2016 at 6:08 pm
THE DO NOT CALL REGISTRY DOES NOT BLOCK THESE CALLS! Legit companies subscribe to the list and stop their employees from calling people on it because they will get slapped with escalating fines every time they get caught (people actually report them and not just post on these websites). Scammers could not care less. THe Do Not CAll registry law does not apply to calls that are coming from outside the US nor does it apply to CHARITABLE organizations or companies you have done business with in the past.
