Google Maps calling to try and sell you something so your name is higher on the list. Really rude customer service. They don't listen when you ask them to remove your name and number. They just keep calling.
Do NOT ask to be removed from their call number. My number is already on the Federal Do Not Call list, yet they call anyway. They clearly are not as helpful as their automated prompt would indicate. I believe that often they are calling to confirm that it is a live number. I am fairly certain that since asking to be removed the frequency of calls has actually increased, not decreased.
For the record, the latest call came in on 3-4-2015 at 2:45pm to my number in Northern California
The Do not call list, who many on here think is helpful is COMPLETELY accessible. therefore the numbers on there,to these sadistic [***] are fair prey. the list isn't effective, and if anything, makes you more susceptible. let's not kid ourselves, spammers are here to stay.
You don't like it block every call, if it turns out to be a mistake, then remove that number, there are boxes for 50 bucks that will block thousands of numbers-shut them all out-dead air...
