I have been paying my Sprint bill for 2 years at this number. It goes like this: I forget to pay, they call and threaten to cut my phone off, I push a button, they ask for varification that includes the last 4 digits of my social and the answer to my security question- sometimes my address and voila! My phone bill gets paid with the card they have on file for me and none of my phones get turned off. If this was a scam, my phones would have been disconnected a LONG time ago.
This is a scam, they just called me and said that my account is past due and that i could pay with a debit,credit or checking account. Ok sounded legit until my PAST due amount was not even close to what i had to pay to sprint, which i am not even late. Hung up and called sprint to ask them about it and they said that that is not their number. SCAM SCAM i tell yah
The person stating this is from sprint must work for the scammers. I have talked several
Times with sprint and it will never come up as anything but their 800 number and what is funny the scammers are not even getting correct info when they leave MSG for my husband on my phone to call about his account well my number I have had over 8 years use to be on his account but have not bed on his for over 6 months
For over 8 weeks I have had a progression of Automatic calls for the same name: "Gavel Jim (sp?)" with urgent information about his "Sprint cellular account ending in XXXX." The first set of automatic calls wanted me to press numbers to say I was Gavel Jim, that I was getting Gavel Jim on the line... la lalalala. Today I decided to post my experience for others. THIS NUMBER FOR VERIZON IS a SCAM! Sorry, it will cost you to activate a block service... but this was a proactive move I could make for others being harrassed by this auto dialer SCAM ### identifying Verizon's name and Cellular Services. DON'T TRY TO TALK TO A HUMAN AT THIS NUMBER. I am already on the DONOTCALL lists. Have a better day and ride it out by ignoring it.
