This is a telemarketing company. If you have noticed the name CRT 402-223-2040 on your caller ID and do not answer they will continue to call back NUMEROUS times until you do.

Quality Teleservices Mgmt (QTM) does business as Custom Response Teleservices (CRT).

Basically what happened is QTM was involved in a lawsuit with other telemarketing companies for buying illegal information from an employee at Certegy. They were getting people names, phone numbers, bank account numbers, etc that were stolen. Of course QTM denied all of this to the press when questioned about the lawsuit and claimed they didn’t even know they were involved in any lawsuit. Yeah right. So after this bad press about their company they now do business under the name CRT. QTM(CRT) was started in 2000 by Roger Price, Angie Price, and Tim Kremer. Angie Docken and Roger Price worked for a telemarketing company in North Platte, NE called Sitel. That company did exactly what QTM(CRT) does now. Angie divorced her husband, ran off with Roger and started their own company with the financial help of Tim Kremer. A look into QTM reveals some questionably business practices. The company is charted in Idaho, yet the official headquarters are in Elkorn, NE. If you receive a call and answer it you will have to wait for a representative to answer which takes a couple of seconds. Once they have identified who they are speaking with they will say they are calling from your bank. This of course is not true because they are not calling from your bank and if you ask your local branch they will have no idea what you are talking about. You will be read a short script about insurance and as asked to verify your name and address. Once you have done that they will ask for your date of birth “for verification purposes only”. After that they will transfer you to their “supervisor” so that they can “make sure they didn’t make any clerical errors”. What is really happening is their “supervisor” is a licensed insurance agent who will enroll you for insurance. You are being tape recorded and the script the insurance agent reads is your enrollment in the insurance. The agent asks for your city of birth “as a safeguard”. Often people are hesitant and the rep assures them that they do not ask for any account numbers nor do they ask for a social security number. They don’t have to. If you give someone your date of birth and your city of birth it lets your bank know that you have authorized QTM(CRT) to add an insurance premium to your account. Your bank will begin to deduct premiums from your account (checking) or add them to your mortgage. This company is not reputable. If you keep receiving calls contact www.donotcall.gov  OR better yet email the owners and tell them what you think about getting calls over and over and over.
