I received a call from this number today on my cell phone and they left a voicemail. Claimed to be with the Tulsa County Health Department doing a health survey of Tulsa County residents. And they would try again and if I had questions to call 18888667354. I find this odd because it came up on my cell phone as a Lincoln, Nebraska phone number. Also while I did live in Oklahoma for many years, I never lived in Tulsa county, and I currently do not even live in the State of Oklahoma. So I am curious where they got my phone number from.

I got the same call 2 nights ago on my cell phone (which is a number I don't give out to anyone other than personal friends) I answered the call and they told me they were calling on behalf of the TCHD. I thought it was stupid that Tulsa hired some company in NE to do their calling for them, way to keep jobs in the state!! I told them I wasn't interested in participating in their survey and not to call my cell phone anymore my landline is for calls of that nature ... of course they ignored my request, and tonight they've called twice on my cell, but I didn't answer either call and they didn't leave a voicemail. Hopefully they will quit calling soon.
Again, I am curious why they are calling me. They need to gather the numbers to call in a better manner than random 918 numbers since that area code covers about 1/3 of oklahoma, and many counties that are not Tulsa County.
This number traces back to the University of Nebraska. If they are calling from the health department in Tulsa County as "jp" suggests, they need to get their S#@T together, because I have NEVER lived in Nebraska, nor have I EVER even visited that state. However, I seriously doubt the legitimacy of this agency because:
1. If this is just a simple survey, why the hell are they calling my cell 3 or 4 times a day, 7 days a week, for the last 3 weeks straight!
2. How did they get my phone number, which is under the DNC list for just this very reason?! "Randomly generated"... yeah, right.
3. Why don't they ever leave any messages?!
This is utter BS. Say they are reputable all you want, but no legit company is gonna be calling that much just to conduct a survey with someone who has never even laid eyes on Nebraska!
