Answered phone, got recording saying I was referred to them by a friend or neighbor (BS!!), and that I qualify for whole life insurance product- hung up before recording ended.
I accidentally found a way to respond to unwanted calls like this one. Purchased a new multi purpose printer, scanner and fax. Most of the time I turn it off when it is not in use. This morning I forgot and left the power on. This call came in and the fax machine answered with an irritating sound, hope it was a person the other end not a stupid robot!
